Epsilon Beta Chapter - est 1955

The Epsilon Beta chapter of Delta Tau Delta has the honor of being one of the three original fraternities on campus at TCU. Epsilon Beta has since been an established presence on campus. With more than 100 members, Epsilon Beta has members spread across campus in nearly every community. Coupled with more than sixty years of alumni, Epsilon Beta is here to stay.

Delta Tau Delta Fraternity itself is one of the strongest international fraternities. Founded In 1858 at Bethany College in West Virginia, Delta Tau Delta has 140 chapters worldwide. The eight founding fathers had a vision for an organizations centered around building men of honor and taking pride in brotherhood. Famous national alumni include Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, Texas Governor Greg Abbott, Vice President Henry Wallace, Will Farrell, Drew Carey, Matthew McConaughey, David Schwimmer, Columbia Sportswear President Tim Boyle, and John Elway.

The Epsilon Beta chapter is no different. It has a long-standing connection with TCU and Fort Worth. Alumni, such as Luther King and John V. Roach, have their names memorialized on campus buildings. At Epsilon Beta, we have a goal of creating a chapter of upstanding character with members who care about brotherhood. With members from dozens of states and even countries, Delt firmly believes in recruiting men of character. This is seen in the involvement Delt men have in the TCU community and the programs Delt implements. For example, every year, members complete an online module called Delts Talking About Alcohol in which members learn about how to responsibly manage alcohol and the implications it could have. It is with education like this the men of Delt can function responsibly in their community. With each year, Delt continues to grow and we are excited for the future!

With values of academic integrity and community service, Delta Tau Delta is a proud cornerstone of the TCU community. In Spring 2020, the Epsilon Beta chapter had a semester GPA of 3.579 with 16 4.0s. Every year, Delt donates thousands of dollars to JDRF and we are proud to continue to do so each year.

Events such as Karnea and Ignite aim to educate members on how to lead responsibly and serve as ethical men in their lives. For more information on Delt's national initiatives, click HERE.
